Pediatric Special Interest Section Coordinator
Brenda M. George, MS, OTR/L
As the Pediatric Special Interest Section Coordinator, I serve as an advisor to the OOTA Board. I work to support the development and advancement of pediatric practice by acting as a resource person, promoting communication and networking among the members, encouraging and providing continuing education opportunities and advocating for practitioner and consumer issues through increased awareness about OT services, policy and legislative needs. I also communicate with state department representatives (Ohio Department of Education (ODE), Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD), Ohio Department of Health (ODH) legislators, consumer groups and participate on related state level committees.
